Hotel Information
Last year, nearly 30 NWDA members went to our nation’s capital to participate in our inaugural Washington Fly-In. The event was hailed as a tremendous success as it allowed NWDA to open the lines of dialogue between members and their representatives. (Click here for details on last year’s “Fly-In.”)
So we’re heading back for more!
This year, NWDA is teaming up with the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) for this event. We will join more than 300 manufacturers from across the United States who will gather in Washington for the second annual NAM Manufacturing Summit.
As a group, we plan to visit over 130 Congressional offices to emphasize the need for policies that will spur economic growth and improve our country’s competitiveness.
Don’t get left behind! NWDA’s Winter Meeting earlier this week was so successful and had such an overwhelming turnout that we had to turn people away. Don’t let this happen to you. Register today!
*Note* This meeting is for NWDA members and for non-members attending an NWDA meeting for the first time. If you are a non-member and have attended a meeting in the past, you must join the association to attend this meeting.
The NWDA Educational Seminar will begin at approximately 9:00 am on Wednesday, April 14. Following breakfast and the morning speaker, we will join the NAM Summit around 12:00 pm where we will have a briefing lunch, prior to going to Capitol Hill. The lobbying visits will be set up by NAM in advance of our meeting, and run from 2:30 to 5:30pm. Our day will conclude with a Congressional Reception from 5:30 to 8:00pm.
